Post with Comments and Trackbacks
January 9th, 2009This post will show off a few other common blog things, comments and trackbacks. Among the comments there will also be some administrator comments do display what an admin comment would look like. Trackbacks are used when another blog adds a link to one of your posts. Some themes have them appear among the other comments, some will put them into their own trackbacks section and some remove them entirely.

Hi, I am a commenter. I’d like to chat a bit with ya, but I gotta run.

I’m going to be one chatty commenter. I will test the bounds of how much text can one person actually use to express the simpliest of ideas. I also don’t know what a paragraph is, so I will write my entire comment in one very large comment. I believe it was Mark Twain, aka Samuel Clemens, say, “I didn’t have time to write a short letter, so I wrote a long one instead.” That’s a pretty good quote. I apparently haven’t been moved by it though, because I have never edited anything that I’ve ever written. I’m pretty sure everyone values my opinion so much that they can’t help but read every word. Well this insightful comment is sadly coming to an end, please do not morn. It will be ok. I just want to be ok, be ok, be ok.

Poor ol, me for I have yet to get a website of my own. I’m still waiting for my brother’s friends cousin to code one up. He said he can add a hit counter for me. I’m so excited.
